This bell's brass cover has a pretty Victorian foliate design and a patent date of 1874. The unusual and beautiful cast brass pull has a fixed grip plate on the bottom; the top grip is a lever that activates the bell. Together they make a clever and comfortable mechanism for your hand. This bell has a medium-pitched single ring and is in excellent condition.
Bell base measures 4" across; 4 3/4" on center. Pull measures 2 5/8" by 5 3/4".
