This massive and well-built set was produced by Yale & Towne around 1910. The flower-and-anthemion based design was named "Gardo", and the matched pieces include doorknobs, doorplates, jamb plate, and keyed mortise lock. The lock faceplate is cast brass with pushbuttons; the knobs and plates are cast iron. These handsome pieces would be an elegant and impressive way to greet your guests.
Doorknobs measure 2 1/2" diameter. Doorplates are 3" by 14". Mortise lock faceplate is 1 1/4" by 7 1/4"; box is 4" deep and 5" tall. Jamb plate is 11/4" by 3". Two keys are included.
